About the Tour

Nagarkot is located 32 km east of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2175m. This tour gives you an opportunity to see magnificent views of several Himalayas including Mt Everest, the Langtang Range, Dorje Lakpa, Gaurishankar and many others.

We pick you up from your hotel and make our way out of the city toward the beautiful Nagarkot hill station.

It is about two hours’ drive to Nagarkot from Kathmandu. When you arrive at your hotel you can leave your bags in your room and wander the hill station village to see how the locals live.

The hotel has viewing platforms to view the sunset over the Kathmandu Valley. Here you can watch the last rays of light disappear over the horizon.

Once the sunset has completed you are invited into the dining area where you will enjoy a Nepalese style dinner.

In the morning you can enjoy the sunrise before we begin trekking down to the Changu Narayan temple.

Dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu, it is one of the oldest examples of pagoda architecture in the valley.

After we visit this temple, we will have lunch then drive to Bhaktapur which has its own Durbar square.
