Peace Pagoda Morning Trek
Overview
The World Peace Pagoda stands atop a hillside overlooking the town of Pokhara, with the Annapurna Mountains reflecting off the Phewa Lake. We start the trek with a tranquil ride across Phewa Lake before mounting the trail for a 2 ½ hour trek to the top of the ridge and the Pagoda. From the peak you can soak up the magnificent views of the Himalayas including the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre and Manaslu ranges.
After catching your breath we make our way back to lakeside Pokhara, stopping at the Tal Barahi Temple in the middle of Phewa Lake, before concluding the trek.

Detail Itinerary
The Peace Pagoda Morning Trek is one of the most demanded treks in Nepal. The World Peace Pagoda is a stands atop a hill overlooking the beautiful Fewa Lake and Pokhara. There are also views of the Annapurna mountain range from here. This beautiful monument was built just after the World War II by the Buddhist monks from Japanese Nipponzan Myohoji. The main reason behind building this Peace Pagoda was to inspire peace for all races and creeds.
The Peace Pagoda Trek starts with a boat trip across Fewa Lake early in the morning that takes you to the starting point from where we will take a short climb up to the World Peace Pagoda. This takes us up to an elevation of 2500m on the summit of Panchase hill, from where you can see a stunning sunrise over the snowy Himalayan peaks. The Peace Pagoda Morning Trek is a one day trip that takes a minimum 4 hours.
