Champa Devi Hiking is an exciting one day hiking trip from Kathmandu, situated at an altitude of 2,285m. Champa Devi hill offers a fantastic hiking adventure in an exotic atmosphere. From Champa Devi, we can see spectacular views of Kathmandu valley, natural wild life and magnificent views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Langtang, Ganesh Himal and Gaurishankar range.

About the tour

Champa Devi is a popular pilgrimage site for both Buddhists and Hindus. A large number of pilgrims visit the Buddhist Stupa or Hindu shrine on full moon days to make an offering to Champa Devi. The local people can be seen performing rituals during the special occasions.

After having breakfast at hotel, we drive sixteen kilometres on the way to Pharping and we start to hiking to Champa Ddevi. The trail goes gradually uphill for about half an hour towards the north ridge and then ascends further through the beautiful forest to Champa Devi. It will take us approximately four hours to reach the top of the hill. We will spend some time admiring the beautiful views from the ridge and capturing alluring views in our cameras then we will later descend down to Kirtipur town and eventually drive back to your hotel.
